Yesterday I left you with the thought that self- confidence is one of the most attractive qualities you can find in another person.  How did you go with that thought?  As I sit here typing this post in my study, I've got a picture for an upcoming event taped to my desk hutch.  From this picture I have Anthony Robbins, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki staring down at me.  As a male, I wouldn't call any of them particularly good looking, but I have to admit that there is something compelling about them, individually and as a trio.  These are guys that I want to sit down, have a beer with them and mine their individual and collective genius.

Any one of them will tell you that the reason for their successes is not because of their looks, or even what or who they know.  The reason is that each one of them attracts the right people and opportunities that make them successful because each one of them has the self-confidence in themselves to genuinely and completely believe in attracting those people and opportunities to themselves.

But let's look at it on a smaller scale.  Let's look at you and me.  I'm nowhere near as pretty as I tell people I am, but people want to be around me and talk with me and the only thing that does it is my confidence in myself.  If you think about that, think about someone you know who lacks self-confidence.  Think for a minute about how much time you want to spend with that person.  Think about how much time you want to spend with a friend who is self-confident.  Do you get what I'm saying?

One of the reasons is because people who lack confidence are very inward looking and tend to think more of themselves and what they can get.  Self-confident people tend to be more outward looking and interested in others and how to help them.

Just giving some food for thought. ;-)
